Deliverable:
Many of my students did
not want to be photographed, but I was able to get a picture with about half.
Originally I planned on using the Redcross instruction program, but the manager
at my pool changed our swimming lesson instruction manuals. I did follow her
new instruction manual and levels and they were very similar to what I had
planned. My students were all on a variety of levels. I had students ranging
from the point where they will only put their feet in, to kids jumping off our
high dive.
I taught lessons every Saturday
morning from ten o’clock until one o’clock. Each student was with me for a half
hour and we met four weeks in a row. I only ran into weather conflicts one time
but we had a pretty smooth summer. It was crazy to see how much my students
progressed in just four short weeks. We had lots of fun together and they loved
playing games. I tried to disguise the work and turn it into fun. I got lots of
great feedback from parents and my kids.
Here's a link to all my pictures and certificates from the summer. Link
